Aaron Kedar is a singjay artist that is fast gaining recognition and prominence on the UK Roots Reggae scene. Aaron Kedar combines social commentary with a radical, militant edge to his music. Aaron Kedar writes most of his own material and is among the first of a new breed of UK Rastafarian artist capable of the type and pace of the delivery akin to that of Jamaican artist in the genre. His first release 'Green' recorded by Ruff Cutt made a significant impact with Dancehall fans and emerged on the 'Ruff Cutt 2000' complation CD. A former member of the Suncycle Crew Aaron Kedar is featured on their 2002 album.

He has recorded numerous Dub plate specials for various sound systems around London and is highly rated by other London and Jamaican DJ artists. Aaron Kedar is set to blaze a new trail in the annals of Reggae music all of his own. Aaron Kedar was a guest at the Riverside Studios in London, where he performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The only other artist to have done this being Reggae legend John Holt. Aaron Kedar was a supporting artist with Foxy Brown/Babysham in 2002 at Stratford Rex where he exploded onto the stage and tore through a set that captivated and excited the audience.

A force to be reckoned with he is being compared favourably to the likes of Sizzla, Capleton, Buju Banton and Luciano. Early in 2004 Aaron Kedar went to Jamaica for a holiday. While he was in Jamaica he hung out with artist like Louie Culture, Turbulance and Jah Mason. Two years ago Aaron Kedar recently hooked up with Reggae legend Delroy Washington who recorded tracks for him with Neil 'Mad Professor' Fraser at Ariwa Records as a part of the (Adventures In Music) AIM Initiative. At Ariwa Sounds Studio enough tracks were recorded for an album. Ariwa released a single entitled 'Vexed With The System' in September 2005.      more . . .
