"I aim to create a party atmosphere"

Talented Venus has been passionate about music from an early age, listening to and being influenced by Michael Jackson, Prince, and 80's Soul, along with the hip hop masters like Grandmaster flash, Eric B and Rakim, De la Soul. Her very first gig was at the tender age of 16 where she started to hone her unique style of mixing old funk, reggae and soul.

Her early DJing was for local radio stations, particularly London's infamous LWR, following in the footsteps of Tim Westwood, plus Urban Fresh 96.6fm where she hosted the afternoon drive time and made it her own.

Her more recent gigs have included after parties for Black Eyed Peas, John Legend and Jaguar Wright. She has also done parties for Lexus, Wrigly, Radio One and prestigious fashion events like the launch of Givenchy's perfume Very Irresistible.

Her London weekly residencies have included the exclusive Kingly Club, China White, Elysium, Opium and Cafe de Paris, where she is currently hosts one of London's hottest Friday nights. She has also played at Koko, Jam, Funky Buddha, Eve Club and Q Bar.

Her international clubs include Belfast's famous Milk Bar hosting Ladies Night Invitation by 'Harry and Jim', El Cau and Cisco's in Andorra, and the Shusse Club in Sauze D'oulx, Italy.

Her passion for both the music and the mixing is clear to every crowd. Venus is incredibly versatile, adapting her sets to suit every dance floor. She plays a fantastic set, mixing up-tempo R&B, Funky Hip-hop classics, Funky house, and soul. Her aim is to rock the crowd every time and create a memorable party atmosphere.
